How it works
Every minute has a price.
NIX Scoreboard turns your screen time into a score your friends can see. Lowest score wins.
NX tokens
Some minutes cost more.
Every minute on your phone costs tokens, called NX. The rate depends on the category.
You sort your apps into these five categories once, at setup. See the setup guide
An example day
An hour of work costs less than ten minutes of social.
An example day, priced at the app's real rates.
The board
Lowest score wins.
Your score sits on a board with your friends, ranked lowest first. On Day, that's today's total.
Week and longer
Over a week, it's your daily average.
On Week and longer, boards rank by your average over the days you logged. A row with missing days says how many it has, like 5 of 7 days.

Head to head
Tap a friend. See who's ahead.
On Week, the drawer puts your days won against theirs in the middle, then draws the week day by day, theirs against yours. Lower NX takes the day; today counts once it's over.

Favorites
Star your rivals.
Hold a friend on the All friends board to make them a favorite, up to 5. Home shows your record against each one this week, and they're never told.
Focus
Bad day? Block every app.
Every app is blocked except Phone, Messages, FaceTime, Maps and your Always Allowed list.
On the example day above, a 45 minute session takes 45 NX off, plus 9 more at the finish. End early and you keep the minutes, not the bonus. Focus can take a day down to zero, never below.
Friends see your Focus minutes. More Focus doesn't win days on its own: it counts by taking your score down.
Phones down
One code. Everyone's phone goes down.
One phone hosts and shows a code and a QR. Everyone who joins has their apps blocked until the same end time.
If everyone finishes, everyone gets a group bonus. Pick up early and that session earns you nothing. 2 to 20 phones.
What friends see
Your score. Not your apps.
Friends see your score and how it splits by category; never which apps, never what you did in them, never anything on your screen.
